Before the summer, I wrote on the Talentstorm blog how we were paying close attention to the issues raised through the Black Lives Matter protests. I personally have been involved with designing training around equality and diversity issues for many years. I’m aware how tricky delivering training on these topics can be. I wanted to create a resource that would allow for discussion to take place in a safe and constructive way, so I wrote a video script for a 10-minute training video on Unconscious Bias.
My friends at LearningPlanet have brought this to life and have added it to their suite of nearly 300 micro-learning videos. I am now able to offer this for sale as a standalone video, with an accompanying workbook, for £99.
This video introduces and explains Unconscious Bias in relation to equality and diversity, citing workplace examples and opportunities, and an overview of legal frameworks including protected characteristics.
The workbook contains 4 sets of discussion questions allowing for personal reflection and group conversations. The video is designed to support a trainer or facilitator by framing a 60-minute training session by providing key information in a helpful, structured way by allowing further discussion and application to the organisation’s own environment.
The video is available to purchase for £99, allowing you to either embed it onto your LMS, or by giving you a private link to use and share with your employees.
The video is available to view here,
