Personal Development/How to be a Modern Learner

How to be a Modern Learner

This interactive workshop works both for in-company learning, and for open groups. It can be used to help support a larger campaign to create a learning organization, or to kick-start thinking on the importance of taking control of one’s own learning journey and raise awareness of modern tools to support this.

In this interactive workshop you will:

  • Consider why we need to ‘self-direct’ our learning – how changes in work and careers mean we have to continually evolve
  • Explore how to be a modern, self-directed learner – the seven characteristics and how we can develop them
  • Microlearning and macrolearning – what are the differences and what’s the best to use when
  • Explore new tools to support learning, including digital and social tools
  • Look at your personal learning network and identify ways to strengthen this

Owning your Personal Development

An interactive session allowing participants the opportunity to review their current Personal Development and learning practices, reflect on meaningful goals and plan for the future. Participants will receive a copy of the Personal Development Workbook.

In this interactive workshop you will:
